UC Honor Society Spotlight: Phi Alpha Theta
Founded in 1974, the Upsilon-Upsilon chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the international honor society in history, holds the great distinction of being both the oldest and the most frequently honored society at University of the Cumberlands. Phi Alpha Theta has for 37 of the last 38 years recognized Upsilon-Upsilon as the best chapter in its division.

Campbellsville University recognized outstanding faculty, staff, and students during this year's annual Honors and Awards Day ceremony.
Awards were given in the following categories: special awards, academic awards, Servant Leadership Awards, honor graduates, Alpha Chi, "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges" and Champions of Character awards. Campbellsville University graduated 170 master's students and 262 undergraduate students on May 3 and 4, respectively, along with 215 December graduates, for the largest-ever record 647 students receiving their diplomas in the 2012-2013 academic year.

Local students attend presidential inauguration with Campbellsville University clubs
January 2013 will mark a month that many Campbellsville University students will remember for a long time. Campbellsville University made it possible for three groups of students to attend President Barack Obama's second inauguration ceremony.
Students attending were from three university clubs: Phi Alpha Theta history honor society, the Sociology Club and the Political Science Club.

The Campbellsville University Concert Chorus will present part one of Mendelssohn's "Elijah" on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary of Campbellsville Baptist Church, located at 530 North Central Avenue, Campbellsville Ky.
Elijah" is a major oratorio by Mendelssohn that tells the story of the biblical character, Elijah, in various historical settings.
